Moist flourless orange cake
I have a similar recipe on the blog but it’s chocolate orange cake - this version has no cocoa powder and perfect for someone who loves a light, moist tea cake - of course they have to love oranges. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 navel oranges - seedless
2 cups almond flour
6 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
Method:
In a medium saucepan, add two whole oranges and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for two hours. Oranges should be soft. Blend whole oranges in blender. This can be stored for up to 2 days in the refrigerator
Add eggs, sugar, and almond flour, and baking powder and mix thoroughly
Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean
