Spiced Turmeric Milk Mix
If you’re like me, you’ve probably spent a pretty penny on turmeric lattes (also known as Golden Lattes). This may come as a health fad to some, however, my mother has been making turmeric lattes for as long as I can remember. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties so it’s a great spice that’s been a staple in many South Asian households including my own. My mother’s version is quite different and I’ll post it up on the blog soon. Instead of spending $5-$7 dollars on a golden latte, here’s a cheaper alternative. Play around with the recipe, mix it up and see what flavours you like. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
300 grams coconut milk powder
5-9 tbsp turmeric
3 tbsp hemp protein powder
1 tsp ground cardamom
3 tbsp cinnamon
9 tbsp Good Fats Chocolate Shake mix
3 tbsp cocoa powder
Method:
Mix everything in a bowl gently and evenly
Store in an airtight glass jar
Boil a kettle of water
Add 1 tbsp of the mix to your mug and add the hot water
Stir and enjoy
