The smell and taste will remind you of a warm pumpkin spiced latte…

If you’re like me, you’ve probably spent a pretty penny on turmeric lattes (also known as Golden Lattes). This may come as a health fad to some, however, my mother has been making turmeric lattes for as long as I can remember. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties so it’s a great spice that’s been a staple in many South Asian households including my own. My mother’s version is quite different and I’ll post it up on the blog soon. Instead of spending $5-$7 dollars on a golden latte, here’s a cheaper alternative. Play around with the recipe, mix it up and see what flavours you like. Enjoy!

 
 

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams coconut milk powder

  • 5-9 tbsp turmeric

  • 3 tbsp hemp protein powder

  • 1 tsp ground cardamom

  • 3 tbsp cinnamon

  • 9 tbsp Good Fats Chocolate Shake mix

  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

 
 

Method:

  1. Mix everything in a bowl gently and evenly

  2. Store in an airtight glass jar

  3. Boil a kettle of water

  4. Add 1 tbsp of the mix to your mug and add the hot water

  5. Stir and enjoy
