Banana Spinach Smoothie

This is my go to smoothie. You can add or omit the peanut butter or substitute with other fruits as well.

 
 

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana - fresh or frozen

  • 1 cup liquid

    • 1/2 cup milk of choice (I use coconut milk)

    • 1/2 cup water

  • 1-2 handfuls of raw spinach

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (you can use regular or powdered)

  • pinch cinnamon

 
 

Method:

  1. Add the liquid and spinach to a high powered blender and blend for 20 seconds. I use a Vitamix.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients. Cut up banana into 3-4 pieces.

  3. Blend all ingredients

  4. Enjoy!
